‘Act more PRESIDENTIAL’ Junker told to GROW UP after ‘trying to get David Davis SACKED’

13 May

Pressed if Mr Davis was mistaken in his analysis, Mr Schinas replied: “I am not saying anything else on what I just said.

“This is not in our business, we are not in this, it’s nothing to do with us, there’s a campaign, we are not concerned.”

Meanwhile, the Brexit Secretary said he was confident that an early agreement would be reached on the rights of EU citizens in the UK and British expatriates on the continent, which is set to be one of the first items on the agenda once negotiations start.

“I see no reason why we can’t have an ‘in principle’ agreement straight away for EU nationals and British nationals abroad,” he said.

“Once it is agreed people can relax. We want people not to be anxious.”
