We all have colleagues who use email inappropriately. 

But are you that colleague? Do your co-workers hate you? There has now been a scientific study into the most annoying way to use the method of communication.

David De Cramer found that cc-ing in your boss is the best way to stop your co-workers from trusting you.

He did a study, published in the Harvard Business Review, looking into the dreaded cc-effect.

 Always cc-ing in a manager does not in fact create “transparency”, found Professor De Cremer, but actually feeds into a “culture of fear”.
