Harvey Weinstein’s brother plugs Paddington 2 as he denies film company will be sold

Sallie Hofmeister, a spokeswoman for the producer, said: “Any allegations of non-consensual sex are unequivocally denied by Mr Weinstein.”

Earlier this week, Mr Weinstein told reporters, “I’m not doing OK,” but “we all make mistakes,” when he was spotted in Los Angeles for the first time since the scandal broke.

Anna Wintour, the editor of Vogue, is the latest figure to add her voice to the condemnation. “Behaviour like this is appalling and unacceptable. I feel horrible about what these women have experienced and admire their bravery in coming forward,” she said.

“We all have a role to play in creating safe environments where everyone can be free to work without fear.”

She was frequently photographed with Mr Weinstein at runway shows for the fashion label Marchesa, co-founded by Georgina Chapman, the producer’s wife.
